Calvin's first salon haircut

My hair was getting shaggy again so Mommy and Daddy decided to take me to a salon to get it cut...probably because I wouldn't hold still when they tried to do it. The lady was really nice, she squirted my hair and then she squirted me in the mouth...which was really funny. It tickled. Then she gave me the squirt bottle to play with and I squirted mommy. She put this little cape with animals on it over me and told me to sit very still. I just sat there and chewed on the squirt bottle until she was done...she even used the clippers on me. I'm such a big boy.

RAWR! I roared at mommy because she was taking too many pictures of me and not letting me play. Do you like my new puzzle that I'm sitting on? Mommy and Daddy bought it for me for my birthday.

Calvin's (third) First Birthday Party!

Today we threw another birthday party for Calvin with our friends. We had a brunch and had a few friends over for food, drinks and later on we moved to the pool and splashed around for a few hours.

My camera lost battery early on, so I don't have a ton of pictures...but I have pictures from the other two to remember the occasion :)

More pictures from our vacation.

Here is a little update, sorry it's taken me so long. Mommy has been busy setting up our new computer and transferring all of the files. I'm turning one on Friday, so Mommy and Daddy are giving me new foods to try and I get to eat a lot more! I'm also becoming a lot more independent, so I won't let them feed me. I want to feed myself, and that is the end of it! I'm also discovering that I can change the tone and volume of my voice on a whim and my favorite place to practice doing that is when we're eating at a restaurant. Mommy got upset with me for screaming really loud, apparently I'm not supposed to do that. As of right now, I have a taste for words and like to chew on the dictionary whenever I get a chance.

Well, on with the pictures. I'm going to get a snack. I saw that Mommy bought some watermelon and I love love love love watermelon.
