Calvin's first first Christmas

Tonight we had Christmas as a family, and boy...was it an experience. Calvin wanted more to drool on his presents than he did open them. When he did open them though, he loved them.

As I am uploading these, he is banging his fists on the computer desk. He's excited.

The little worm looking thing is a puppet....it sings twinkle twinkle and counts from one to ten.

That is a new boppy cover that has toys attached to it.

Calvin sits up!

He's been sitting up for longer and longer lately...tonight, he sat up and regained balance whenever he would start to tip. He also could reach for his favorite toy "the butterfly" when I put it in front of him.

Also, his favorite thing to do lately is stick his tongue out.

Well, this was Calvin's first Thanksgiving...I think he was a little overwhelmed by all the people, but overall he did pretty well.

He got his pictures taken on Friday morning, and he did pretty well in that as well...although most of the pictures have drool in them. You will all get to see them in a few weeks.

Here are a few pictures of Calvin and a couple of Calvin and Adeline together. They are so adorable.

Calvin is cutting another tooth. 3 total. Ugh.

The new "family vehicle"

Hey, at least it isn't a mini-van. Sorry to all of you mini-van owners out there, but I vowed long ago never to own one.

We bought as close to a sports car with 5 seats, cargo room, and 4 doors as we could get. It's a Mazda CX-7 and it handles like a dream...well, for a SUV anyway. It has a fantastic sound system and side curtain airbags to keep little Calvin surrounded in good music and safety. He loves it too...although he hasn't stayed awake long enough to say so.

Calvin met his cousin, Adeline for the first time last night. I forgot a camera, but I will be sure to take some pictures today. It was adorable. She was fascinated by his feet and he was substantially bigger than she was. More to come when I get some pictures of the two of them together.

new pictures

Hey everyone, not a lot to update about. Calvin has been sleeping so well lately, usually for 10-12 hours at a time. He started eating some solids, fruits in the mornings and vegetables at night. He loves sweet potatoes. He acts like a little bird and begs for the orange mush.

He seems to have a default look when I take pictures of him...."uhhh...."

Walking already? His little leggies look so skinny.

Calvin had fun with pudding.....or, mom had fun with pudding.

Halloween

Well, as most of you know, I went as a maxi pad with wings. We sort of forgot to take pictures while we were out, but we managed to get a few in before we left.

My makeup for the evening.

The back of my costume...."always"

The front...yes, I know I look a little stunned. It was the wine talking.
